home of the Lord of the Isles...*

To be honest after I posted the video of Kilnaughton Beach of Islay last Saturday I got a little spoiled. Thanks for your interest... So I will post more of those raw footage if you don't mind...

The three videos below are shot on my first morning on Islay. I remember waking up pretty restless almost at 6:00 in the morning at my beautiful bed and breakfast Askernish in Port Ellen, having an awesome Scottish breakfast prepared by my host Joy Prentice and starting my seven miles hike pretty early following the footsteps of Alfred Barnard when it was still dark around. Finally after months of planning I was on my way to Ardbeg, Laphroaig and Lagavulin..! Unbelievable... The sun was rising slowly on my right side over the sea changing the colors and shadows with every passing minute when I was approaching to the distilleries. I was excited like a little kid and having hard time to stop myself staring around speechless with a huge smile on my face. The scene was absolutely breathtaking... A gorgeous morning I will remember for my whole life.
